Lectroetch Electrochemical Marker

Lectroetch electrochemical marking machines are a low cost, simple alternative to laser marking of date codes and other information on conductive metal parts.  Lectroetch markers use a very low voltage DC current passing through a stencil to remove the surface material and etch the part.  The process does not weaken or deform the part, so it creates a stress-free mark.  The depth can be controlled, and it creates a high quality mark.  The equipment is inexpensive, consumables are reasonably priced and it requires little training.
